We couldn’t be happier with our experience at DanceMore. We spent 14 one-hour lessons with Fernanda preparing for our wedding dance, and she was absolutely incredible. Fernanda has a unique ability to bring out the absolute best in her students. She didn’t just give us a routine; she focused on our individual strengths and was always open to hearing our feedback, adjusting the lessons whenever needed to make sure we were comfortable. What we loved most was the balance of her teaching style. She is incredibly strong in her technical knowledge and reinforces it well, but she predominantly focuses on the "feeling" of the music. Her classes were very focused—some sessions were dedicated strictly to technique, while others explored lyrical movement or choreography. This approach helped us truly understand and learn the dance rather than just memorizing steps. By the time our wedding came around, we were able to dance with total ease. Instead of overthinking our steps, we were completely immersed in the dance itself. Also a big shout-out to Everton, the owner of DanceMore. He has selected great teachers and also has a big focus on practicing confidence and intention in dancing. If you are looking for a teacher who is as technical as she is soulful, we cannot recommend Fernanda and the team enough!
